The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a Sharepoint Infrastructure Specialist to join a Federal Government agency.
You will be required to provide technical guidance and support to staff and conduct complex technical work packages.
The Role
The role’s responsibilities will include:
• Designing, building and maintaining multiple SharePoint farms
• Work collaboratively with Enterprise Architect, SharePoint/Project Server developers and administrators in Networks, Security, SQL and EDRMS
• Planning and configuring authentication and security
• Producing and reviewing documentation including standard operating procedures
• Manage Service Level Agreement’s via metrics by ensuring systems are available and requests are updated frequently
• Show a dedication to service delivery excellence through an ongoing commitment to improving the section’s offering
• Manage incidents through the existing incident management processes
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by management
Your Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in:
• SharePoint migrations particularly 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online
• Building and managing a SharePoint farm experience in fixed assets, loans, tax or treasury management
• Technical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting issues and facilitation of workshops
• Federation services and user identity
• SharePoint search for enterprise
• Federation services and user identity
• Understanding of SharePoint online and hybrid integration and EDRMS integration
Salary / Rate
Hourly rate negotiable
