12 month contract

The Commonwealth seeks to engage a Performance Manager to provide performance management governance to its Partners and help monitor Contract Performance.

The Performance Manager will also be required to produce executive level documentation of items such as contract management documentation, contract management processes/tools, business/performance metrics and benefits management measurement.

The Role

The role’s responsibilities will include:

  • Provide performance management governance to the SDFs and Partners

  • Compile contractual and periodic Status Reports and manage Dashboards that are representational of the D-ICT capabilities and associated partner performance

  • Evaluate and undertake assurance activities and trending associated with Contract Performance and Reporting statement of works

  • Monitor and measure the Benefits realised by the D-ICT and the value delivered by Partners, and collaborate and negotiate any revised Benefits or SHIs to satisfy the Commonwealth and the Partner’s needs

  • Recommend remedial actions against monthly Performance Reports to the SDFs and Partners where system health indicators have not been met, and work in collaboration with the ITSM SDM to establish SMART KPIs for improved system health indicators

  • Facilitate relevant Contract Performance and Reporting related forums ensuring representation from all stakeholder

  • Arrange for the preparation and delivery of document for the monthly DIGB

  • Maintain the Performance Management and Reporting Process document and the Benefits Management Plan

Your Background & Experience

The ideal contractor will have demonstrated experience in: 

  • Measuring, analysing and reporting the health of the organisation, suppliers, their products and services.

  • This includes the:

  1. Collection and analysis of business/performance metrics;

  2. Experience in the development of contract management frameworks, strategy and/or plan;

  3. Developing operationalising and monitoring contract performance metrics and requirements;

  • Conducting or contributing to performance and compliance reviews of suppliers under contract, including reviews of:

  1. supplier self-assessments of service delivery;

  2. achieving Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirements;
